GEMS of SFA
The idea for this website came from the opening address to kick off the academic year 2010/11 here at Stephen F. Austin State University. Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Richard Berry spoke about the many "Gems of SFA," by which he meant programs of outstanding quality hidden away in Deep East Texas. We at the Teaching Excellence Center thought this concept was worth pursuing. We worked with Public Affairs, who agreed to write articles and make videos of the truly outstanding programs at SFASU.
