SFA Teaching Expertise Database (under development)
Searches in the database may be executed using a name, department, or area of expertise. Current areas of expertise are listed below.
Across campus there are many faculty / instructors who have developed skills and expertise in specific areas related to teaching pedagogy (e.g. collaborative learning, working with large classes, effective use of technology). We will be creating a database of such individuals who are willing to share their skills with others.
During an individual consultation process, the TEC staff may suggest including input from one of these experts if their area of expertise matches a client need. These experts may also help lead workshops or panels, and they are willing to be contacted directly by faculty who would like their input.
To become a consultant/expert in a field of learning, your name must be submitted by a dean, department chair, or a director. To submit a name, fill in the SFA Teaching Expertise Form.
