TEC Opening Event!

We had a fantastic turnout for the opening of the new Teaching Excellence Center at SFASU!  Thanks to all of you who were able to join us.  Check back soon for some photos from the event.

Event Speaker  Dr. Steve Davis

Talk: "Cheating, I Don't Feel Guilty.  I Feel Good Because I'm Going to Get a Good Grade": Academic Dishonesty in the 21st Century

Place:  Wyatt Room in the Steen Library

Reception: Come check out our office and join us for for further informal discussion on cheating, or talk with Steve about mentoring or student research.

Door prizes: Dr. Davis was able to donate three copies of his book, Handbook of the Teaching of Psychology.  One copy will be kept in our office for visitors to read. The other two signed copies were won by our colleagues Judi Biss in General Business and Kevin Langford in Biology.  The Cottage also donated a beautiful rosewood photo album with a SFA emblem.  Our colleague Lisa Mize was the lucky winner.  Congratulations to all of you!
