TEC Socials and Speaker Events
The Teaching Excellence Center will periodically schedule speaker events open to the campus community. We welcome you to join us and to give us suggestions for future speakers.
- TEC Fall 2007 Speaker Event: (September 27, 2007). Dr. Brad Garner will talk about ways to increase the effectiveness of lectures: Lecture Induced Mind Paralysis:The Quest for A Cure . He is the Assistant Dean for Teaching and Learning at Indiana Wesleyan University.
- TEC 2007 Speaker Event: (March 21, 2007). In her presentation Dr. Lynn Eaton will discuss diversity in college teaching, and she will be available at the reception afterward for further discussion.
