Student Intern Projects

Andrea Locke and Katy Robinson had intern positions in the Anthropology and Archaeology Laboratory during the fall 2008 semester. As part of their research, they prepared an exhibit of paintings of Caddo funerary vessels in conjunction with the visit of representatives of the Caddo Nation of Oklahoma to SFA on October 23, 2008. The exhibit opening and Caddo Nation visit were scheduled to coincide with the monthly meeting of the San Augustine County Historical Society meeting and the kick-off event of the San Augustine Sassafras Festival, El Camino Opry at 7:00 p.m.
