Anthropology and Archaeology Laboratory

Location: F80

The archaeology laboratory holds significant collections of prehistoric and historic artifacts from most of the time periods in East Texas history. Students utilize the laboratory equipment and study collections during many of their archaeology courses and obtain hands-on archaeological experience. They are encouraged to conduct independent research projects with our collections. Students interested in archaeology as a career also are employed in the laboratory during their time at SFA.
