SFA to stage student-directed 'Old Saybrook'

The Stephen F. Austin State University School of Theatre will present a student-directed production of Woody Allen's "Old Saybrook" at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, and at 2 and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16. All performances are in the Downstage Theatre located on the first floor of the Griffith Fine Arts Building.

The action follows two couples having a Sunday get-together in one of their homes. The afternoon is interrupted when the previous owners of the home stop in and learn that things are not at all what they seem, explained Austin senior Kelsey McMillan, the play's director. "This farcical identity crisis will be sure to keep you guessing!"

The play is recommended for mature audiences. More

Office decorating contest for Homecoming

Homecoming 2010 is around the corner, and we are excited to announce our office decorating contest is back and bigger than ever! We hope that you will help us make the theme "Lights, Camera, Axe 'em" come alive across SFA's campus.

Small Office: 0-10 employees
Medium Office: 11-20 employees
Department: 21+ employees

Each category winner will be awarded a treat thanks of Aramark and of course, a bragging trophy. The judging criteria will be based on how well the theme is represented with bonus points for creativity and thinking outside the box!
