March Cybersecurity Newsletter now posted
This month's topic is Cyber Ethics. The explosion of social networking and the ubiquitous sharing and posting of so much information online has changed the way we communicate. We must ensure that users understand their responsibilities for conducting themselves online.
An important component of that is Cyber Ethics, which refers to the code of responsible behavior on the Internet. We should all employ the basic tenets of Cyber Ethics to be good "cyber citizens." You may view the newsletter at www.sfasu.edu/itsecurity |

The BIG Event job request forms available!
Job Request Forms for The BIG Event are now live at www.sfasu.edu/thebigevent! SFA faculty and staff are eligible to apply for a job for students to complete during the third annual day of service, to be held Friday, April 29.
Potential projects include cleaning, yard work, painting, etc. This day of service is NOT based on socio-economic need, but rather as a way for SFA students to say “thank you” to the campus and community for all of their support.
Anyone in the community is eligible to apply for a job, so apply for one and then pass the word along to local family and friends! For more information, please contact Jamie Bouldin, assistant director for leadership and service, at jfbouldin@sfasu.edu. |

- Spring cleaning?: To clear cobwebs from hard-to-reach places without making a mess, cover the bristle end of your broom with a damp pillowcase, secure with a rubber band and swat. The webs cling to the moist fabric, which you can then easily toss into the wash.
