Freshen a musty garage: If you're about to set up your annual garage sale but humid weather has left the area smelling mustier than usual, try this trick. Spread a layer of cat litter in a shallow pan and place in an inconspicuous spot. The absorbent granules will soak up the moisture in the air that causes stale smells.
