The event is free to everyone. Founder, CEO and visionary for Wisdom Beyond Words Poets, Taylor is an accomplished author and spoken word poet; having performed in New York, Chicago, Atlanta and various other cities in and around Iowa. Having come from very meager beginnings, Taylor began his journey after learning the separation from his mother at an early age had more of an effect in his later years than he had expected. He began to write; releasing the built up anger, hurt and sorrow, and now he's ready to share it with the world. Thus, this began the birth of W.O.R.D.S., which stands for “wisdom only revises determine souls.” Co-sponsored by Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. For more information please contact the Office of Multicultural Affairs at (936) 468-1073.
