Dr. Wooster is professer of history at Lamar University where he has taught for more than fifty years. He has published more than seventy articles in scholarly journals and authored or edited numerous books, including "Politicians, Planters, and Plainfolk: Courthouse and Statehouse in the Upper South," and "Texas and Texans in the Civil War." he is a past president of the East Texas Historical Association and of the Texas State Historical Association. |
