| Speaker biography: |
James Surls is an internationally recognized
artist, formerly from Texas, who lives and works in Colorado.
He creates sculptures in wood and metal, as well as drawings
and prints, using abstract figurative imagery derived in
part from primitive mythologies of the American Southwest.
He is serving as juror for the Texas National 2005 juried
show at SFASU. |
