American history expert to speak at SFA


The author of more than a dozen books on American history will be the speaker for the second lecture in the East Texas Forum series, sponsored by the East Texas Historical Association, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, in the Twilight Ballroom at Stephen F. Austin State University.

Dr. Paul Boller is Professor Emeritus of History and Lyndon Baines Johnson Chair at Texas Christian University. His books include "George Washington and Religion," "Not So! Popular Myths About America From Columbus to Clinton" and a series with titles including "Presidential Anecdotes," "Presidential Campaigns" and "Presidential Wives."

The East Texas Forum is supported by Humanities Texas and by the Summerlee Foundation.
