Student selected to attend conference


Andrew Harmon, a senior Stephen F. Austin State University political science major from Lubbock, was selected outstanding international relations student by SFAÕs Department of Political Science, Geography and Public Administration and awarded a trip to the annual Student Conference on United States Affairs hosted by the United States Military Academy. At the four-day event, Harmon participated in round table sessions and attended a panel discussion. The theme of the meeting was ÒU.S. Responsibility and the Global Community: Interests, Opportunities and Ethics.Ó Harmon is a graduate of Coronado High School and is the son of Margaret and James Harmon of Lubbock. He is the vice president of SFAÕs chapter of Amnesty International and maintains a 3.65 grade point average.
