Art students to hold art sale

NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS - The annual Holiday Art Sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, and Saturday, Dec. 3, at The Art Center, 329 E. Main St.

The sale, sponsored jointly by the Stephen F. Austin State University Art Alliance student organization and Earth, Wheel and Fire Ceramics Club, will feature ceramic ware, sculpture, photographs, prints, paintings, drawings and mixed media works created by SFA undergraduate and graduate students.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Art Alliance Scholarship and ceramics student travel fund, according to Dr. Jill Carrington, SFA associate professor of art and faculty adviser for the Art Alliance.
