Speech Language Hearing Conference at SFA


The Stephen F. Austin State University chapter of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association will welcome speech pathologist Dr. Suzanne Evans Morris as the speaker for its Feb. 25 conference in the University Center Grand Ballroom. Morris will present ÒFeeding the Whole Child: A Mealtime ApproachÒ and will discuss feeding skills and mealtime issues for children, including those who receive nutrition through a feeding tube. Morris is a speech-language pathologist with New Visions, an organization she founded in Virginia in 1985. ÊNew Visions provides continuing education and therapy services to professionals and parents working with infants and children with feeding, swallowing, oral-motor and pre-speech problems. SFA students planning the conference include, from left, Jaci Vawter, Ranita Scott, Christy Connor, Ashley Gregory, Robin Dorenski and Cassie Lee.
