Valentine art sale Thursday through Saturday

 

           The Art Metal Jewelry Society at Stephen F. Austin State University will hold a Valentine Art Sale from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, through Saturday, Feb. 14, at The Art Center, 329 E. Main Street in downtown Nacogdoches.

           SFA student and faculty works of all media, including jewelry, ceramics, printmaking, painting, sculpture and photography, will be on sale. All proceeds will benefit the Art Metal Jewelry Society and the SFA Department of Art.

"The sale is a great opportunity for everyone to find that perfect valentine gift," said Jennifer Sholtis, SFA assistant professor of art and the society’s faculty adviser. "We hope to make this an annual event."
