Professors from South Korea to speak at SFA
The Nelson Rusche College of Business at Stephen F. Austin State University is inviting the public to hear presentations by two South Korean professors regarding global business and women’s issues. The professors will speak from 6 – 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, in Room 133 of the McGee Business Building. Dr. Jae-Kie Park is a professor of international marketing and director of the School of Business at Chungnam National University in Taejon, South Korea. Park has been chief executive officer for Hunan and Cyber Company and consults with various businesses in South Korea. His research interests are in corporate culture, management innovation, human resource management, cyber education and global business. Dr. Ha-Ma Chung is an associate professor of Japanese language and civilization at Hangyang University in Seoul, South Korea. Chung’s research interests are in Korean and Japanese history and culture, specifically women’s issues. Both Park and Chung have been visiting professors at Harvard University. The professors will be on campus Feb. 16 – 18 making presentations to faculty, guests and graduate and undergraduate students in the College of Business and the Department of History.
