Jennings Receives Teacher of the Year Award
Dr. Susan Evans Jennings, assistant professor of general business at Stephen F. Austin State University, received the 2002 Texas Business and Technology Educators Association College/University Business Teacher of the Year award. Jennings was recognized at an awards dinner in Lubbock during the association’s state conference. The group is composed of business teachers from elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, post secondary institutions, colleges and universities. Award winners are chosen on criteria such as classroom teaching performance, years of experience, participation in professional organizations, and contributions to business education through research, publications and presentations. In addition to teaching, Jennings has presented at regional, national and international conferences. Her writings include journal articles and co-authoring two textbooks for Thomson Learning. Jennings joined the SFA faculty in 2000. -30-
