Photography Workshop Offered at SFA

            Stephen F. Austin State University will host “Photography: An SFA Exposure” from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, Feb.18 to April 1, in Room 102 of the Vera Dugas Liberal Arts North Building.

            Hardy Meredith, SFA photographer, will lead the workshop. Meredith graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from SFA in 1981. After college, he worked for The Daily Sentinel and The Tyler Morning Telegraph and News. He has received grand awards and awards of excellence and achievement from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education and the Best of Cox photo competition.

The workshop will provide information on photo lighting, digital photography, black-and-white photography printing and processing, indoor and outdoor photo shoots, and basic photography tips.

Participants will relate their knowledge and what they would like to learn from the class and become involved in several photo activities, Meredith said.

All participants need to bring a camera and film for a “hands-on experience.”

The cost is $75 per person or $125 for two people.

Parking permits will be issued upon receipt of registration.
