The Stephen F. Austin State University Co-Ed Cheerleaders won a ourth consecutive national championship in the 2006 Chick-fil-A Championships held recently in Florida. In individual competition, Justin Kelley and Meghan O'Conner finished with a national title in the partner stunt competition. Jeremy Plemel and Veronica Gomez finished second.  The partner stunt win is the third consecutive win for an SFA team. The SFA Pom Squad finished 5th and the All-Girl team finished 9th. The competition featured more than 260 teams competing in 12 divisions. The SFA Co-Ed Team will hold tryouts April 22-23 on the SFA campus. For more information, call (936) 468-1018.
