SFA art professor and wife open home studio to donors
NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS - John Daniel, Stephen F. Austin State University professor of art, and his wife Doris recently opened their home studio to donors who had contributed $100 or more to the 2005 Friends of the Visual Arts campaign.
The visit is just one in a series created by the SFA Friends of the Visual Arts as a special thank you to contributors, explained Shannon Bailey, SFA gallery director.
Gary Frields, SFA professor of art, will be opening his studio to contributors of $250 or more, and donors who contributed $500 or more will be invited to a dinner at The Art Center on Saturday, May 7.
