The Campus Audit

In the Fall of 2005, SFA began the process of conducting a campus audit of civic engagement.

What is a Campus Audit?

The Campus Audit is simply a review of civic engagement activities at SFA.

What is the purpose of the Campus Audit?
To assess the existing levels of civic engagement on campus
To identify particular courses that promote civic engagement
To discover the co-curricular activities encouraging civic involvement
To link campus events, courses, and activities associated with civic engagement
To identify new opportunities for civic engagement

How will the Campus Audit be conduct?
The audit consists of a brief questionnaire, either in paper or Web format.

Who will participate in the Campus Audit?
Initially, department chairs and deans will be asked to participate.
Then, the audit will expand to other administrative agencies and student organizations.

Why should I participate?
To help assess the quality and quantity of civic engagement on campus.
To find new opportunities for civic engagement.

To help students, faculty, and staff make a significant impact on our community.
