MANDATORY EEO RETRAINING

The State of Texas requires that all faculty and staff, both full-time and part-time (excluding undergraduate student assistants), be trained on employment discrimination law including sexual harassment. The purpose of this training is to comply with Chapter 21, Sec. 21.010 of the Texas Labor Code, which requires all employees of the agency to attend an employment discrimination training program to provide the employee with information regarding the agency's policy and procedure on employment discrimination and sexual harassment. At SFA, every employee must attend an on-site training upon hire and complete an on-line retraining every two years thereafter.  We must receive the signed verification form, as state law requires documentation of EEO training. Credit cannot be given without this documentation.  If you have any questions or experience technical difficulties, please contact Human Resources at 468-2304 or hr@sfasu.edu .

At the end of the training you will need to complete a verification form and mail it back to Human Resources.

You will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader plug-in to view, click the link to download, its free .
