Position:

Instructor/Assistant Professor (Tenure-track, 9-month)

Starting Date:

September 1, 2007

Job Description:

Teaching courses in the visual impairment program, advising students, and participating in research and scholarly activities.  Teaching responsibilities include face to face classes on campus as well as distant learning classes via the internet and interactive video.  All faculty are expected to participate in recruitment and student retention activities.

Professional Requirements or
Special Skills:

Certified teacher of the visually impaired with at least 5 years experience teaching visually impaired children.  Preference will be given to individuals holding an earned doctorate.  Individuals willing to complete their doctorate in six years will also be considered.

Minimum Salary:

Commensurate with qualifications and experience. Grade:
