Stipend - a lump-sum payment in addition to the base appointment salary that provides recognition or incentives to employees.

• Requested on the Stipend Authorization Form and payment is mid-month
• Limited to designated, auxiliary and gift accounts
• Includes the Regent's Professors Award, the President's Staff Award, teaching excellence awards, preparation of and teaching of on-line courses, incentive payments, and musical or theatrical performances at University-sponsored events
