Welcome to ORSP
The mission of the Office of Research and Sponsored Projects (ORSP) is to support and promote the research, scholarly, and creative activities of the Stephen F. Austin State University community while encouraging compliance and scholarly integrity.
ORSP provides limited pre-award and post-award services related to externally funded grants, contracts, and restricted gifts and manages internal research funding programs in support of the SFA mission statement.
Announcements and Important Reminders
- New & revised policies: Financial Conflicts of Interest in Sponsored Activities (A-11.5) and Misconduct in Federally Funded Research (A-31.5). Note that an annual FCOI disclosure for all external projects is required of all faculty/staff, as well as a project-specific disclosure for all PHS-funded projects - effective August 24, 2012.
- NOTICE! Effective 9/1/2013 the IDC rate will be 31% MTDC on-campus; 10% MTDC off-campus. Based on the new agreement, off-campus is defined as activities performed at facilities not owned by SFA and for which rent is directly allocated to the project.
