Financial Aid
SFA
provides online information and application materials for student
financial aid at their Financial
Aid Website. Make this your one-stop shop for paying for graduate
school. To be eligible for financial aid a student must:
- Be enrolled
in an eligible degree-seeking or certificate programs at least
half-time (six credit hours).
- Be a U.S.
citizen or eligible non-citizen.
- Have a valid
Social Security Number.
- Be registered
with Selective Service (if required).
- be in good
academic standing and maintain satisfactory academic progress
toward completion of a degree or certificate.
- Not owe a refund on
a Federal grant or be in Default on a Federal educational loan.
- Demonstrate a financial
need, except for some loan programs.
Parents income will be
required unless the student meets one of the following criteria:
- Will be 24 years old
before January 1.
- Is a graduate or professional
student.
- Is married as of the
application date.
- Has legal dependents
who receive more than half of their support from the student.
- Was a ward of the
court before turning 18 or both parents are deceased.
- Is a veteran.
- Has documented exceptional
circumstances.
