Eighth Annual Texas Undergraduate Mathematics Conference
Where: Stephen F. Austin State University, Nacogdoches, TX
When: October 26-27, 2012.
What: For the past seven years, undergraduate students have gathered in Huntsville and then in Tyler to talk about math, play games, and network with students and faculty from around the state of Texas. This year, Nacogdoches and Stephen F. Austin State University take a turn at hosting this exciting annual event.

Housing: Days Inn Nacogdoches and Super 8 Nacogdoches are the offical conference hotels. Students may choose in the registration form for a hotel room to be provided at no cost to them; the conference organizers will arrange for you to share a room with other conference participants. Faculty will need to reserve their own room. Our block of rooms at the Days Inn has been completely reserved, but there are rooms available at the Super 8. Faculty may reserve a room at the Super 8 by calling 936-560-2888 and saying you are part of the "Math SFA Conference."
Meals:
- Friday supper: Pizza will be provided for students on Friday night.
- Saturday breakfast: the hotels have complimentary breakfast for Saturday and there will be coffee and light snacks at the first floor of the Math Building.
- Saturday lunch: the conference will provide Subway sandwich lunch boxes and beverages for all participants, included with registration for faculty and free for students
Invited speakers: Brian Hall from the University of Notre Dame, and Bob Shuttleworth from Exxon Mobil
