of Liberal & Applied Arts is building a reputation for its

College of Liberal and Applied Arts is a major presence
at SFA, accounting for 34% of the Unversity's total
credit hours and 26% of its undergraduate majors. |

Over
90% of regular faculty members have terminal degrees. |

The
College enrolled 2,973 undergraduate students as majors
during the Fall 2007 semester. |

The
College houses six of the top fifteen majors at SFASU:
Psychology (#4), Radio/Television (#8), Journalism
(#10), History (#11), English (#14), and Political
Science (#15). |

More
than 20 scholarships and fellowships are available
for students in the College. |

Secondary
teaching certificates are available in Speech Communication,
English, French, History, Social Studies, and Spanish. |

Graduate
