Closing out the year is the last real party of the spring semester, and it’s held right on campus. Springfest is sponsored by the Student Activities Association (SAA). This end of the year celebration was once called the East Texas Country Fair and attracted thousands of people from not only the university but the community.Now SAA has inflatable games, free food and drinks and thousands in prizes and free stuff.
Springfest is traditionally held at the end of April each year.
