You’re standing at the virtual doorstep of educational opportunity. The faculty and staff of Journalism, Radio/TV and Philosophy work together to offer students dynamic courses that range from the theoretical to hands-on skills preparation classes.
Our students don’t just listen to lectures—they are behind the cameras, running the radio station, writing features for the campus newspaper and combining popular culture with ancient history. We keep most classes small so we can get to know each student and make the most of his or her university experience. Our faculty creates opportunity—the opportunity to learn, grow and prepare. Faculty members get involved in many ways. We advise, develop internships, create special projects and help students reach for success.
We are developing the Center for New Media on the cutting edge of media convergence. At the Center, research and skill will merge to draw media professionals, academics and forward-thinking students to a creative nexus. Our emphasis is GLOBAL, as new technologies enable us to quite literally reach around the world.
So no matter where on this globe you are, come on in! Our door is open.
