Our strong history in educating professional
foresters
SFA campus is located deep in the piney woods
of east Texas. Field station is taught each summer at the Piney
Woods Conservation Center in the heart of east Texas. So students
studying forestry on campus and at field station live and work among
the piney and hardwood of east Texas. Distance education students
in the Master
of Science on Resource Interpretation (MSRI) program live and
work all over the country.

Academic Resources:
SFA students have full access to physical and
online books and journals through the Steen Library. ATCOF students
have access to several computer labs, including two GIS/remote sensing
labs equipped with modern computers/plotters, ESRI, and ERDAS softwares.
