Payments for Teachers Participating in SLAAs

Stipends for attending trainings is automatic. Your stipend will be processed approximately two weeks after the final SLAA training session.

Reimbursement for test and certification fees is not automatic. You will need to submit the following form for reimbursement of the fees. Please fill out the form at the bottom of this page, indicating the reimbursement fees you are requesting. You may submit for reimbursement as a lump sum (TExES registration fee and certification fee together) or separately. If you are making separate requests, you will need to submit the form with each request.

With the request, you will need to submit documentation. Please refer to the list below for documentation.

TExES Registration Fee for ESL Supplemental Exam #154

Verification of passing score on the exam (only one needed)

Photocopy of your mailed score report

OR

Printout of the electronic score report from SBEC (log on to www.sbec.state.tx.us and click “View Examinations”)

State Board of Educator Certification ESL Endorsement Fee

Verification of addition of English as a Second Language Supplemental to Standard Certificate

Photocopy of your mailed teaching certificate

OR

Printout of the electronic teaching certificate from SBEC (log on to www.sbec.state.tx.us and click “View Certificates”)
