NB: Creative Writing courses—ENG 359, 361, 362, 461—may be used for the Writing minor; however, these courses have prerequisites. The prerequisite for ENG 359, 361, and 362 is ENG 261 – Introduction to Creative Writing or consent of instructor. The prerequisite for ENG 461 is ENG 261, ENG 361, and 12 semester hours of ENG courses or consent of instructor.
Grade Requirements
A grade of at least C in each freshman English course; a C average at SFASU; a C average in first major courses taken at SFASU; a C average in minor or second major courses taken at SFASU.
