III. Survey Literature Courses (9 hours)

                  ENG 221: Major British Writers before 1800

Minor
Requirements and hours may vary according to department; see the Bulletin.  Hours for the minor may overlap with the General Studies Core requirements.  (18-23 semester hours.)

 

Hour Requirements 
A minimum of 130 semester hours with at least 42 semester hours of work at SFASU; must include 42 or more semester hours at the advanced level (300 and 400 level courses); at least 36 of these 42 advanced hours must be taken at SFASU; at least 12 advanced hours in the major must be taken at SFASU.

Writing Requirements  
Nine (9) semester hours of work incourses designated as being writing enhanced.

Grade Requirements
A grade of at least C in each freshman English course; a C average at SFASU; a C average in first major courses taken at SFA; a C average in minor or second major courses taken at SFA.
