The Biology Graduate Program at SFASU
Graduate Assistantships
Students with clear and provisional admission are eligible for departmental Graduate Teaching Assistantships. These are 20 hours per week positions (two 2-hour lab sections per week) per 9 months. Teaching assistants usually work in our introductory courses: Zoology (BIO 133) and Human Biology (BIO 123) or Botany (BIO 131) and Concepts of Biology (BIO 121).
A limited number of graduate assistantships are awarded each year in the department. Teaching assistantship application materials should be submitted to the department chair by the following dates for priority consideration:
