The Grand Ballroom offers a large space for events as spectacular as a sweetheart ball or as functional as a banquet room for honoring individuals of distinction.

A vast array of furnishings, decorations, and equipment to support events are available. Many of these furnishings are provided without charge, however, some fees are required for personnel to operate equipment (Technical Charges). Requests for furnishings must be made with the Coordinator of Reservations and Conferences to view a list of furnishings click on UC Furnishing. Capacity: Banquet Legs 800 : Round Tables 520 : Chairs 1000 : Maximum Capacity 1000

Dimensions: Useable Square Feet 103' x 83'' : Ceiling Height 16-18'

A.D.A. Facility Equipment: A passenger elevator which accesses ground level and upper level is located on the east and west side of the ground level.

Available Connections: Telephone / Ethernet / In-house sound system upon request.

Audio: Public address system available upon request, additional charge may be applied for technical support fees.

Audio-Video/Data Cables: May be pulled through and covered for safety.

Elevators: Freight and public elevator available on the east and west side of building

Food Services: UC Catering Service is available with menus appropriate to meet the individual needs of each group.

Freight Access: One drive-up dock at ground level.

Furnishings Available: Grand piano, upright piano, standing lattice panels, pedestals, water fountains, columns, solid dividers, blackboards, podiums, table lectern, Texas flag, U.S. Flag, flower arrangements, ficus trees and candle votives.

Lighting: General fluorescent lighting. Traditional incandescent lighting with dimming capability. Stage fixtures that allow area lighting, coloration, or projection of patterns all with dimming capabilities. Rates: Non-SFASU sponsored groups $200.

Telephones: TDD telephone available on ground floor as well as a bank of public phones.
