of the person you want to reach. Campers will be let in only after a counselor
identifies the individual. Counselors are asked to call another camp counselor.
Bent or Broken Keys
Please bring the key to the front desk so we can issue a new key at no charge.

* After Midnight - Please read the posted schedule at the front desk if possible and notify the scheduled SFA staff member to report the outage. They will notify the Hall Director.SFA staff will get a sponsor to verify identity of guest.
Please tell your camp that if the power is lost "after hours" it may be some time (30 minutes to an hour) for the on-call maintenance man to arrive to the campus. Maintenance must enter the room to check for any possible safety hazards. Running 2 blow dryers, or any 2 appliances simultaneously, may at times trip a breaker.
Windows
Are required to stay closed at all times to keep the air conditioning cooling
effectively.
***Automatic Door Closers***
Please inform your camp that due to fire codes all doors are equipped with
automatic door closers.
Please ask them to close their doors to prevent slamming and to be careful
not to accidentally lock themselves out of their room.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU!
Please meet with the Hall Director before your camp arrives to discuss
the following items. Also, we would LOVE to have our staff meet your staff/sponsors
so everyone can be easily identified.
How Do You Want to Distribute Keys to Your
Campers?
Our goal is to issue keys in a manner that will minimize key distribution
time and camper congestion.
We only have one requirement; we must have the guest's signature for a key
at check-in & check-out.
How do you want us to verify the identity of a camper before we check out
a key?
Camp Check In
Camp Check Out
Room Lockouts
Front Desk Specifics
While hours may vary, one of our staff members is required to stay behind
the desk at all times.
Only SFA staff is permitted to check out keys, enter key codes, or enter the
key box.
Feel free to have one of your camp staff behind the front desk to meet the
needs of your camp.
We will post all messages in a central location on a message board.
Will you have one of your staff members at the desk with our SFA staff?
Do you want your staff to answer the phone?
How Do You Want to Handle Building Lockouts?
As a safety precaution, if our SFA staff is called to the door, we will not
allow anyone into the building after midnight until one of your camp staff
identifies the individual.
Roommate List with Room Numbers
For safety reasons and for key checkout purposes, we must have a complete
roommate list from you the first night of your camp and verify it daily.
Daily Guest Count for Your
Housing Bill
Each night of your camp the Hall Director needs from you the total number
of:
People Sleeping in the Building
People in Private Rooms
People Sharing Rooms
