Alpha Phi Sigma is the national honor society for criminal justice. The society recognizes scholastic excellence by undergraduate and graduate students in the criminal justice sciences. Membership is an academic accomplishment recognized by the majority of criminal justice agencies. Requirements are as follows:
3.20 overall gpa for Undergraduate Students (Effective January 2006)
3.4 overall gpa for Graduate Students
3.20 Criminal Justice gpa
12 or more Criminal Justice hours at SFA
At least 1/3 of degree requirements complete
Declared Criminal Justice Major or Minor
Be of good moral character
Be recommended by Criminal Justice faculty/staff
$40.00 one time National Chapter dues
$20.00 one time Local Chapter dues
