The National Broadcasting Society is pleased to invite
the submission of productions in our annual professional production
competition/exhibition. This competition/exhibition is open to professionals
(NBS professional members, faculty, advisors and/or other broadcast
professionals) who wish to enter productions which they have created
in an above the line capacity. Quality entries not winning top awards
(but receiving a minimum score by the judges) will be allowed to be
presented in a showcase format.
This competition is open only to the professional

Joint faculty-student productions may be submitted for exhibition only
if so noted.
Audio Categories: (click

Commercial or Public
Service Announcement: Messages that promote or advertise
an organization, product, point of view or event. Most entries are
expected to be 30 or 60 seconds but other lengths are acceptable up
to 5 minutes.
News, Sports and/or Public Affairs Program or Segment: May
be a long form program (up to 60 minutes in length) or program segment(s)
containing information about recent events (up to 30 minutes).
Documentary, Drama or
Comedy: A point of view, an interpretation of events or issues,
or a story told via audio up to 60 minutes in length.
Experimental/Music/Other: All other categories not
listed above up to 60 minutes in length.
Interactive Digital Categories: New

Interactive instructional
CD or game.
Web site: Tied to an educational institution or electronic
media outlet or program

or Training Program: Primarily to educate the viewer or listener.
