Part of KSAU’s mission is to inform
the community concerning news and information of what is
happening on the campus and in the surrounding area. As
a service to the people of east Texas, KSAU airs a
number of public service announcements (PSAs). Any
Stephen F. Austin State University organization or any
non-profit community group is welcome to submit
information for airing on KSAU.
There are two simple ways we can help
get the word out, and both are effective, reach our
listeners, and are each free of charge to the above such
groups:
1. Announcement Cards:
Typed cards that contain the event information and are
ad-libbed over the air.
2. Recorded Announcements:
Custom-recorded messages that range from 30 to 60
seconds that are
produced in our digital production
suites.
In order to give you the best service, please
give us as much advance
notice as possible. It is best
to get information to us no later than two
weeks before
the event.
