| 38. | Verify the cable you are using is a Cat 5 Ethernet cable. These cables come in various lengths and colors--typically blue, green, gray, or yellow (see Figure 38a). They will have RJ-45 connectors (similar to a standard phone cable connector only larger; see Figure 38b and 38c) on each end. These cables might also be referred to as Category 5 or Cat V patch cables. Is the cable you are using a Cat 5 Ethernet cable? |
