Will Ethernet work with any operating system (Windows 95/98, Me, 2000, XP, Linux/Unix, Mac OS, etc.)?
 
   
 
   
If the Ethernet adapter you purchased has drivers for your operating system and you have installed and properly configured the TCP/IP protocol (usually installed automatically and by default with the installation of a network adapter) as described for the Windows and Mac operating systems in the instructions in Appendix A of the residence hall handbook, you should be able to access the Internet via the campus Ethernet.
